However, if our clients have specific requirements, we also provide consulting services to arm them with the tools they need to make the right decisions.   • Properly modeling cellular networks by taking into account coverage penetration from existing sites is critical when the goal is to be optimal. As such, Benchmark testing is a crucial step in our network design process at OWN. It allows us to measure the existing signal strength and quality of service (QoS) of a mobile network at a particular location. We use specialized equipment to gather data on the coverage, capacity, and signal quality of the existing network.

    Based on the results of the benchmark testing, we can identify areas of poor or no service and determine the appropriate solutions. This information is also used to optimize the design of a new network or to upgrade an existing one.

    By properly assessing the existing coverage and understanding the requirements and constraints of the project, we can recommend the appropriate design strategy for the project. The two main design strategies are cellular coverage enhancement and cellular coverage densification:

    In cellular coverage enhancement, we use Off-The-Air (OTA) RF Sources to strengthen existing coverage into areas with poor or no service. This stretches the existing service to more areas, which may be a capacity drain for the Mobile Network Operators, but it also helps them reduce dropped calls and improve uptime stats

    In cellular coverage densification, we build a new network layer that overpowers coverage from outside cell sites to provide a dedicated, stand-alone network. This is achieved by using Base Station Transceivers (BTS) RF Sources, which helps offload coverage from nearby macro sites and hence is a WIN-WIN with Mobile Networks Providers!

  • TURNKEY SERVICES

    We specialize in turnkey services, handling projects from start to finish through our streamlined workflow process:

    Pre-Build - We collect requirements, including customer budgetary constraints, and propose solutions that benefit all stakeholders

    Construction - We procure materials and labor and provide construction management oversight throughout the network build process, communicating effectively and leveraging quality control measures throughout the process

    Post Build - We commission networks, integrate with RF sources, and validate coverage through functional tests. We optimize the network for optimal performance. We provide monitoring and maintenance services to address any changes and service issues, as needed.

    CONSULTING

    We also provide consulting services for customers who may not be certain of their wireless network needs. With over 50 years of combined telecom industry experience, our team serves as subject matter experts (SMEs) with industry relationships and resources to guide you through the complex processes of cellular network deployments

  • We take network performance seriously at OWN, which is why we offer monitoring and maintenance services to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with carrier-specific SLAs.

    Our team proactively monitors networks for alarms and quickly dispatches crews to restore or correct any issues. Additionally, we provide preventative maintenance services in the event of changes to cellular infrastructure or coverage space due to space renovation or demolition.
